Anthurium andreanum / Flamingóvirág
The flamingo flower is native to the rainforests of Ecuador and Colombia, where it lives clinging to trees. It feels good in our apartment, it is ideal as a potted flower.
It is very popular because of its exotic orange and burgundy flowers. It blooms for a particularly long time, usually from February to the end of summer.
The flamingo flower prefers a bright or semi-shaded environment, but protected from the hot sun. Due to its origin in the rainforest, it is used to humid air, and will appreciate it if you spray its leaves with water. Try to keep the soil slightly moist at all times, but beware of the danger of overwatering.
The flamingo flower also adds to the range of air-purifying plants.
